Celebrating The Strength Within At Relay For Life 2023

This year, MSD’s Managing Director, Dr Abdullahi Sheriff together with over 80 team members hailing from various divisions of MSD Singapore were honoured to be part of the Singapore Cancer Society – TalkMed Relay For Life 2023 held from the 4th to 5th of March. We were thrilled to come together with participants from all walks of life, cancer survivors and their friends and family to show our support.

Despite the physical and mental challenges of an overnight, they remained focused and determined, showcasing just how powerful inner strength can be, as well as our commitment to supporting and standing in solidarity with the cancer community.

As we interacted with the participants through the ICWW Lung Wall, where they could sign their names or pen in words of support and encouragement to those who are in the fight against lung cancer, with every ball dropped representing a beacon of hope and strength.

It was truly heartwarming to see the way in which the entire community rallied together to support a common cause. This movement carries on virtually, as you can also drop a virtual ball into our lung wall on our main page https://www.icanwewill.com.sg to show your support.

Overall, Relay For Life 2023 was a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience of the human spirit. It was an incredible honor for us to be a part of such a meaningful event, and we are deeply grateful to all those who participated, volunteered, and supported us. We look forward to continuing to work with the community in the fight against lung cancer, and being a committed partner to those who are living with this disease.
